Tarnish Resistance: Only minor color changes after exposure to a specified tarnishing environment. Gentle brushing easily removes any corrosion from the alloy.
Corrosion Resistance: Total metal ion release in a specified solution at (37±1)℃ and (7.0±0.1)d should not exceed 200μg/cm².
Contraindications: Patients allergic to cobalt, chromium, and molybdenum metals.
Precautions: This product is different from beryllium-containing alloys. Do not overheat during casting. Melt using a flame, and once the metal collapses and shadows disappear, cast immediately to prevent porosity, bubbles, and porcelain chipping. The melting point of this product is slightly higher than nickel-chromium porcelain alloy. Degassing treatment is essential. After the treatment, blast away the oxide layer. To prevent cracks and hidden fractures, start porcelain firing at 500℃, increasing at 60℃/min. Usage: 1. Wax Pattern Fabrication: Dental crown wax pattern thickness should be at least 0.3mm. Ensure the crown's cervical margin is not thinner than 0.3mm. For a single crown sprue, the diameter must be at least 1.5mm. For two or more crowns (bridges), the diameter should be 2.0mm or more, and the airway line diameter must be over 1.0mm. Apply a surfactant to the wax pattern before embedding and wait for it to dry completely. 2. Embedding: Use a phosphoric, carbon-free, high-temperature embedding material. Once solidification begins, bake in an oven after an hour. Refer to the nickel alloy embedding material instructions for the embedding process. 3. Burnout of the Investment Ring: Place the solidified investment ring in an electric oven. Start with room temperature and gradually increase to over 300℃ before rapidly heating up. Maintain at 900~950℃ for 30 minutes, then cast. 4.Casting: Use a centrifuge or high-frequency centrifugal casting machine. Melt the metal, and once it collapses with uniform brightness, cast immediately. Centrifuge: a. When using gas and oxygen, set gas pressure to 0.2MPa and oxygen pressure to 2MPa. b. When using acetylene and oxygen, set acetylene pressure to 0.4MPa and oxygen pressure to 2MPa. 5. Cast Treatment: After casting, let the investment ring cool naturally in the air. Do NOT immerse in water to avoid internal stress, which might affect porcelain adhesion. Grind the metal casting using an aluminum oxide grinding wheel and tungsten carbide bur. Ensure consistent grinding direction. 6. Porcelain Firing: Degassing treatment: Place the ground casting in a porcelain oven and heat under vacuum to 970C~980℃. Hold for about 3 minutes, then cool to prevent bubbles during porcelain firing. After pre-oxidation, blast the metal crown's surface oxide layer using clean alumina powder (150μm~250μm) at an air pressure of 6kg/cm2. Then, ultrasonically clean or steam-clean. For porcelain application, follow specific brand guidelines. It's recommended to fire the opaque porcelain in two sessions to prevent bubbles. After porcelain firing, if there's oxidation inside the metal crown or at the edges, gently sandblast using a pen-style sandblaster.
